Erin Gilmore’s lifelong passion for all things equestrian is reflected in the lines of work she pursues. Her years as an assistant trainer with top national and international show jumpers, not to mention a lifetime of riding experience, give her a deep personal connection with the industry and the people it serves.
Erin’s thriving career in equestrian journalism and media began at the Southern California based California Riding Magazine, a popular trade publication. She was hired as a contributing writer while still a college student, and quickly moved into a full-time staff position. Within a year she had moved up the masthead to assistant editor and has maintained that driven style ever since.
Erin continues to be heavily published in the equestrian industry, with her work appearing in The Chronicle of the Horse, Horse & Style Magazine, on ProEquest.com, and PhelpsSports.com, among others. From 2008 - 2012 Erin worked with Sidelines Magazine as both contributing and web editor, building their web and social media presence from the ground up.
After three years with ATTIK, a leading San Francisco design studio and creative agency, Erin expanded her capabilities to include marketing and brand identity strategies for equestrian-related businesses and media outlets. To that end, Erin Gilmore, LLC, was formed in 2011 to better serve the equestrian industry.
